This really is a Very Unique Looking Matched Pair of American Folk Art Duck Hunting Working Decoys. Working Decoys were Made to Function when Duck Hunting as Opposed to Being Made for Decoration. Circa Early to Mid 20th Century. They are Completely Hand Made - Carved Out of Pine Wood and are Quite Rustic in appearance. They still retain their Original Hand Painted Features. Note! that they also Still have their Original Sink Anchor Weights and Cord Attachments that could be Easily Removed for display of so desired ( I wanted to let the buyer have the option ). They have a Wonderful Authentic Aged Rustic Look and the Display Very Nicely as a Pair. I Acquired These on one of My Recent Picking Trips in the Down East Coastal Maine Region. These are Large - Life Size Decoys.
Each Measures Approx. 7 1/2 inches Tall x 16 1/4 inches Long x 5 1/4 inches Wide.
