70's Mid-century natural toned rattan and glass bookcase étagère, in the Pagoda style. It has a bent wood frame that has fret work lattice designed side panels rendering an Asian Chippendale motif. There are 5 shelves in total with the upper four topped with glass and the lowest shelf made up of a series of length wise rattan rods that provide measurable strength and sturdiness to this charming bookshelf
Dimensions:
the top shelf: 27" W x 10" D \ glass panel 11" D x 5/8" thick - no center rod needed
2nd shelf: 27" W x 17" D \ glass panel 17 " D x 1/4 " thick - single center rod shelf support
approximately 9" between top and 2nd shelf
3rd shelf: 27" W x 19" D \ glass panel 19" D x 1/4 " thick - single center rod shelf support - approximately 11" between 2nd shelf and 3rd shelf
4th shelf: 27" W x 19" D \ as is no glass panel - no center rod support - left open to display large tall vases from the lower shelf - if a glass panel were used to create a shelf space here the distance between 3rd shelf and 4th shelf would be 11"
the bottom shelf : 27" W x 19" D - no glass panel - 5 rods that that create shelf that are positioned from r to left width wise. the distance between the bottom shelf and the 4th shelf space is 9" or to the 3rd shelf is a 22" clearance (ideal for tall display vases or items of proportionate size.) There is a 5" space between the bottom shelf and the bare floor.
Overall dimensions: 30" W x 19" D x 72" H (top narrows to 12" D)
4 glass shelf panels are included which are designed for shelves 1-4. The bottom shelf does not rely on glass . less
