19th century American wicker recamier / chaise by Heywood Bros & Co. Fabulous modernist design with low streamline profile. This piece has been painted in its lifetime. 100% original with all metal (brass) accents still intact. Some scratches on painted metal does show brass color under paint. Very solid, very sturdy, extremely well made.
