- Vintage; C.1960's Italian, hand-blown Alfredo Barbini Murano bowl in a ich and vibrant azure, to cerulean and/or aqua coloration with … more Vintage; C.1960's Italian, hand-blown Alfredo Barbini Murano bowl in a ich and vibrant azure, to cerulean and/or aqua coloration with white outer casing, and polished pontil based bottom, and lastly a dimple side. Perhaps used as a handle and/or for ashtray in where to rest one's cigarette. Either way it is a glorious example of Alfredo Barbinis' style. Given the natural or natural light on any given day, the blue hue will take on a more deep coloration or a softer blue quality. This is one of two from the same state, but one is slightly larger and has a sticker affixed to base bottom, while this one featured here doesn't have the sticker, assuming they were purchased as a pair, in which one sticker was applied to the base bottom.
