Vintage 1955 11" Chop Plate Round Platter in the Wild Rose pattern with Golden trim. This lovely platter roses are exquisite. In 1954 is when Ebeling & Reuss of Pennsylvania started using the E & R Golden Crown stamp. The Bavaria Schumann Arzberg Germany green stamp was used in 1955. Golden Crown E & R was in the height of their business in 1950s to 1960s with importing porcelain from a variety of places. In 1986 their business went to Swarovski crystal figurines import exclusively ending porcelain importing.
Platter is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or any repairs with very little wear for its age. less
