The design elements combines fabulous ribbon mahogany, heavy serpentine front, nice carving at the edge of the top surface, claw foot in the front and back, amazing carved ornate mirror with shell design at the top, and many scrolling curves.
Swivel / tilt mirror. A lock in every drawer shows that it was originally meant for a home with servants.
This is an original piece not a later reproduction. Probably from about 1890s or 1900s. It was refinished many years ago and remains in good condition.
Width is about 53 3/4 inch. Depth is about 25 3/4. Height is about 75 5/8 at the top of the mirror and about 34 3/4 inch to the top at the dresser surface. less
