This is a lovely set of restaurantware with orange and maroon borders. The Sterling Company started in 1917 by B. E. Allen. Their address was in Wellsville, OH but used the address in East Liverpool, OH for its office and mailing address.
There was another company that started in 1902, with the same name, owned by Sebring, but changed there name in 1904 to “Limoges China Company. This latter company was in Sebring, OH.
One set of 4 is marked L5, this set dates to July - September 1975. The other set of 4 is marked L7, this set dates to January - March 1976.
