Phenomenal set of four vintage large scale Jacobean style armed dining chairs with Barley Twist frames & gold sculpted chenille fabric with brass nail head trim. Good Looking, Glamorous, and Gorgeously GOLD!! We absolutely LOVE this vintage set of four large scale Jacobean style dining chairs by Henredon!! Let’s just start with these phenomenal Barley Twist frames!! WOW!!! The arms, front and back legs, center stretcher, and high front stretcher feature a beautiful Barley twist that is absolutely eye-catching! And this FABRIC!!! They wear a stunning gold sculpted chenille fabric that is soft and luminous!! Plus, the seats and backs are trimmed with beautiful brass nail head design. These chairs will be perfect in your home whether your design style is modern country, Rustic, Southwestern, Mediterranean, Industrial, or an eclectic designed living space. They will be wonderful at your dining table, perfect seating at a game table or breakfast nook, beautiful accent chairs surrounding the fireplace, or if you just need some fabulous extra seating in your living room.
Henredon was founded in 1945 by four Drexel Heritage executives; T. Henry Wilson, Ralph Edwards, Donnell VanOpppen, and Sterling Collet. The name Henredon is a combination of their names. These four men were determined to build furniture of custom quality and their original offering was only three chests. It has since blossomed into hundreds of designs still in keeping with their goal. Through the years they have engaged well known designers to create their unique and fine furniture. They currently are part of the company Furniture Brands, Inc. but still embracing their long-standing tradition of fine furniture craftsmanship and reputation for timeless elegance.
