The fine art silkscreen print is published by H. Segers Belgium, printed in Florence Italy by Acte II! in 2014. It features an artwork image originally created by Matisse in 1947 titled " Les Velours ", from the famous Jazz Portfolio, authorized by Matisse Succession & Sabam.
Henri Matisse ( 1869 - 1954 ) The French born artist is known for both his sense of color and his fluid aesthetic. Matisse is commonly regarded, along with Picasso as one of the most important artists who helped to define and influence radical Contemporary Art of the Twentieth Century. His mastery of the expressive language of color and drawing won him recognition as a leading figure in world Modern Art.
The extra large format fine art silkscreen print measures 55 3/4" W X19 1/4" H. It is printed on heavyweight premium Tintoretto archival paper stock with vibrant ink colors in a matte eggshell finish. This is a very beautiful impressive very high quality print.
