Add a modestly sophisticated look to any tabletop or mantel with this fine pair of elegant 18th century Georgian bell metal candlesticks with Neoclassical influences. The lovely gold-rose colored tone of the bell metal is what makes these so special. Bell metal was used by the English to produce some of the finest castings at the time.
The inverted column shaped stems rise gracefully from circular stepped bases. The original push-rod ejectors are missing, otherwise these candlesticks are in good condition with normal signs of wear from age and use. Please note the stick to the left has a slight imperfection to the top flange from the original 18th century casting and a slight tilt to the stem. These imperfections do not detract from their beauty, but instead add charm and character. These quality candlesticks have acquired a beautiful patina throughout the years.
