This series of elephants/mammoths, bears, deers etc was designed by the danish ceramist knud kyhn (kk) all the way back in 1929-36. Hugely inspired by the sung glazes applied in axel salto's and bode willumsen's designs these naturalistic figurines were very popular. This two dates from the 1950s and is executed in stoneware. Designs number: 20186 and 20155. Both fully marked and signed to their bases. Measurements: h: 10.5/14 cm, l: 13/20 cm. This piece has an attribution mark,
