A subtle scalloped edge surrounds the top and helps keep things anchored there. The rounded corners feature a modicum of carved detail, and lead the eyes down to the four cabriole legs, the front two also showing carved detail in the form of acanthus plumes. The front legs also provide a framework for the scrolled apron festooned with shell, floral and foliate carvings. The door immediately above is comprised of graceful French scrolls on the frame and raised panel accentuated by a pierced ferrure and pull on the left, with a beefy barrel hinge on the right, all executed in steel for the perfect finishing touch. The cabinet door opens to reveal surprising storage as an added bonus! Ideal as a lamp table in a cozy seating group, or as the perfect bedside companion.
