On the front and back of the body of the vase there are duplicate opposing red five clawed sky dragons flanking a trio of stylized rocks amid swirling clouds, red flames, Fu bats, red double happiness and Buddhist symbols, all above a band of green and white ocean wave lappets at the foot. There is a band around the upper neck above ornate Buddhist symbols on the front and back of the neck that repeats the symbols on the body of the vase. A red Tongzhi nian zhi reign mark is glazed to the inset base. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century. See less
