The late 19th-century Chinese woven basket has a secure lid with two carved wooden beads embellished with metal ribbon knots.

This is a very old basket that was used in its time. It is in good antique condition showing wear consistent with its age and use. Long ago, someone lined the basket with paper which has since almost completely has torn and away and deteriorated leaving just slight traces here and there.
