Fabulous pair of vintage McGuire Cracked Ice chairs with Rattan frames lashed with Rawhide and gorgeous Cane seats.

Dating to the 1970’s. In great vintage condition. All rattan, cane and rawhide intact. Both having the original McGuire San Francisco inlaid brass tags.
Outstanding coloration. The rattan has mellowed to a beautiful warm shade, enhanced by a brown/black glaze. The rawhide is a lovely contrasting cream tone.
This pair of chairs, designed by Elinor McGuire, was purchased in the 1970’s by the original owner and has resided in a Montecito, CA estate for 50 years.
