Rosewood … more Probably the tallest cabinet on the market.
A stunning 19th century classical rosewood top cabinet. Probably of French origin.
Rosewood solid and veneered on oak.
The furniture is architecturally vertically divided by three fluted pilasters on the lower part, and half columns on the upper part.
The lower cabinet has two doors, as well as two drawers above it. The tall upper cabinet also has two doors.
The fluted pilasters of the lower cabinet begin above the cranked base and end in framed acanthus flowers. Both the doors (frame + panels) and the sides are mirror veneered. The drawer fronts are made of framed frieze in meander style.
On the overhanging profiled and cranked top plate of the lower cabinet stands the upper cabinet with three fluted Corinthian half columns with shaft ring. As a sign of the special quality of this cabinet, the doors are veneered not only on the display side, but also on the inside. Above the three carved Corinthian capitals begins the profiled cranked cornice, which is again decorated with a frieze of acanthus flowers.
The cabinet still has the original locks, but with new keys. The tall doors on the top close with both the normal deadbolt and bar latches. All doors and drawers open and close without any problems.
Inside the cabinet is equipped with 4 shelves in the upper part. A matching shelf for the bottom cabinet is still being made and is included with the purchase.
Dimensions: 371 cm (120 cm + 251 cm) high, 185 cm wide, 45 cm / 57 cm deep.
The cabinet can be disassembled into several parts for transport. less
