The sofa is a country house furniture from Ångermanland in Sweden. The sofa is very unusual, most likely the only one of its kind. It has its origin in the province Ångermanland and the area around the city Örnsköldsvik. According to old tales the carpenter’s name was Wallenberg. The sofa has a rich decor with hand carved wood decorations and onlays. Original paint, healthy and solid. We have known about this sofa since the 1970s and it only had two different owners for the whole duration of the 20th century. less
