Vintage; C.1970-1979, Original Michael Taylor,(Designer) for Baker Furniture Co.,(Manufacture), is this iconic and much coveted collection called the, "Far East," Collection, of a side and/or end table, accent table with "Greek Key," Details. The wood combination, is offset with an inlaid book-matched Burl Wood top, with a perimeter edge surround in a Walnut , while the rest of the body is also a solid Walnut Wood framed construction, satin stained in a deep brown espresso or mahogany finish. Quasi Chinoiserie style, but a more contemporary and transitional version, instead of cross-fretting, Offset with Greek Key design motif throughout, ending in state legs with curved foot ends. Maker's mark brass plate placard is on the underside center, as images indicates. The table may be situated front to back or side ways more narrow or more wide vantage point, given one's interior domain and capability. For era and use, it is in great condition, with minor nick or so, otherwise very well maintained. From a Sarasota, Florida Estate.
