The artwork belongs to the famous series ''Los Desastres de la Guerra'' realized during the years of the Independence Spanish War and published for the first time in 1863 and representing the horrors and the despair of the War. Titled on the lower central margin ''Lo Mismo en otras partes'' (Tha same thing elsewhere). Numbered on the upper left corner. Plate N.23. Very good conditions. There are two different variations between the preparatory design and the etching: the composition is in a cave, as happens in some paintings of this period and a guerrilla appears here dead, on his back on left, which intensifies the pathetic effect of death.
