Each comes with a black vinyl seat (more for decoration than practical use).
The first unit features a functional light with elegant pull on / off string above open storage. The central cabinet is composed of two sliding doors (one in reinforced tempered glass, the other in walnut) concealing single fixed shelf storage (one / side). Dramatic, carved, ebonized, block pulls complement both the black vinyl removable cushion and plinth base.
Below the cabinet nestle two shallow, dovetailed drawers above open storage. The bottom cabinet (which is a separate unit from the top) is composed of two hinged doors which drop down to reveal even more open storage.
The second unit features all of the same attributes as the first, sans the illumination function, and in replacement of the sliding doors, there is a secretary component with a locking drop down surface concealing open storage and a small cubby for letters / small items. Includes the original key for the secretary.
Compact pieces that remain highly functional without compromising style.
The walnut has been refinished; only minor scuffs remain. The unit with the sliding doors shows a prominent fissure through the back plywood, which is visible through the walnut veneer in the front, but easily concealed by items when stored on the top shelf (see images).
