Chinese porcelain purple elephant head cong, a square form vase with a circular neck and foot, with a deep purple glazed interior, exterior and inset base . Two elephant head handles are finely carved to opposite sides. A six character, Qianlong reign mark in Zhuanshu script is finely carved to the inset base. The traditional, Chinese, finely carved, hongmu stand included. Circa Republic of China era, no later than mid century.
