This set is totally swoon worthy!!! We are always excited to find ormolu-style pieces, but never have we seen an impressive and complete vanity set like this. It includes: a large mirrored tray, a picture frame, a jewelry box, a perfume holder, a comb holder, and a comb. The set was beautifully and intricately made in Italy in the early 1960's. The tray is large and oval shaped with a mirror base, ornate handles, and a fabric lined underside. The picture frame has cherub motifs surrounding the glass center and a stand as well as mounting options on the back - so you can display it on the wall or on your tabletop. The jewelry box is footed and has a luxe burgondy velvet lining on the inside as well as a removable compartment tray and lower storage area. The ridiculously glamorous perfume bottle has a base, an amber glass transparent body and an oversized glass applicator. The comb holder is a vase like shape that could be used to hold flowers, make up brushes, or whatever you please. But it was originally intended for a comb and comes with the original gold metal comb.
