Footed trinket or jewelry box, with the themed lid figures representing a Crown and Sceptre implements, in front of a fancy frame. Hand painted blue, red, orange and Gold accents
This type of boxes and figurines are known as china fairings, as they were given away as prizes at fairs during the Victorian era. They were usually manufactured in Continental Europe for the British market, notably in Germany by Conta & Boehme
All original, dates to the mid 19th century - circa 1840's

Marked with a number mark, hand incised on the underside of the box
Earlier boxes like this one (before 1850) were marked with just incised numbers and are more rare and sought after.
Measurements: Approx. 4" high with lid x 3.75" x 2.5"
