Claude Gardy was born in the city of Lille in north of France in 1949. He is a self taught artist that gained recognition for his colorful small impressionist paintings depicting cityscapes of Paris as well as landscapes and seascapes. Gardy applies the paint on his canvas by small touches using vibrant colors that give a shadow effect in a unique style that belongs only to him.
