About the artist:

Luciano Guarnieri is an Italian painter who studied in the studio of the renowned artist Pietro Annigoni. Mostly known for portraits, figure paintings, and nudes, he also did landscapes, cityscapes, still lifes, book illustrations, and fresques in churches in Italy. Guarnieri has had one man exhibitions in Italy, Holland, Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Canada, England and Ireland. His work is in the permanent collections of the Greenshields Foundation, Montreal, the Prentenkabinet der Rijksubiversiteit, Leyden, Holland, the Galleria d'Arte Moderna and the Uffizi Gallery, Florence, Italy. less
