This artwork titled "Landscape with House, California" is a watercolor on paper by California artist Ralph Ledesma, 1910-1993. It is signed at the lower right corner by the artist. The artwork size is 14.75 x 21.5 inches, framed size is 23.75 x 29.5 inches. It is custom framed in original wood and black frame. it is in excellent condition.
About the artist:
Born in Kekaha, Hawaii on May 18, 1910. Ledesma settled in Redwood City, CA about 1920. For 35 years he taught art at Sequoia High School and in 1963 founded the Sequoia Art Group. He died at Sequoia Hospital on April 28, 1993. The work of Ralph Ledesma is held in numerous private collections in California and nationwide. less
