This Keith Haring Estate rare vintage 1993 offset lithograph print custom framed collector's Pop Art poster " Mermaid " 1989, is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The fine art poster print is published by Nouvelles Images S.A. Editeurs, printed in France in 1993 in an unnumbered limited edition with the authorized licensed rights of The Estate of Keith Haring. It features an untitled " Mermaid " artwork image originally created by Haring in 1989.
This is a rare opportunity for true Keith Haring fans and collectors as this coveted image Pop Art print is long out of print and very scarce to find. The official " KH " Estate seal of authenticity is printed on the poster in the lower right bottom.
Keith Haring ( 1958 - 1990 ) was an incredibly vibrant American artist and social activist who's artwork responded to the 1980's Street culture by expressing concepts of birth, death, sexuality, and war. Haring's work was often heavily political. His imagery became a widely recognized vivid and iconic visual language of the 20th Century. Haring's close friends and inspirational contemporaries included Andy Warhol, Jean Michel Basquiat and Madonna all of whom he collaborated with in his lifetime. Artworks by Haring are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print collector's framed Pop Art poster measures 31 5/8" W X 24 1/8" H X 1" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern black metal satin finish frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition with very light signs of handling.
