Sir Walter Scott and his Family, a hand-colored steel engraving by W. Greatbach, after David Wilkie, published circa 1850 in the Wilkie Gallery.
The artist depicts Scott’s wife, Lady Charlotte and their daughters dressed in country garb. Their son Charles, Scott’s friend Sir Adam Ferguson, Thomas Scott and their eldest son Walter. Also included are the family dogs, a deerhound and highland terrier.
