Serve your cocktails in style with this large, art deco silver plated copper tray. It's rare to find silver plated copper pieces! They were replaced with silver plated brass in the early mid century years since brass was cheaper than copper. This piece in particular was made by Federal Silver Company in New York. They manufactured sterling silver products from the 1920s-1960s. The tray has a brass body with intricate etching and silver plated detailing around the rim, underside, and handles which includes scroll work and classic shell motifs. The tray is heavy and large and could work for serving or displaying a wide variety of things. The underside is marked "Federal silver company, silverplate on copper".
