This Robert Delaunay rare vintage 1990's " Le Grand Panneau " lithograph print Modernist poster is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The Modernist poster print is published by Portal Publications Ltd. Novato California, printed in The United States in the 1990's. It features an artwork image by the artist Robert Delaunay titled " Le Grand Panneau ", private collection, Zurich.
Robert Delaunay ( 1885 - 1941 ) was a French Modernist artist, who with his wife Sonia Delaunay and others, co - founded The Orphism Art Movement, noted for its use of strong colors and geometric shapes. The Abstract artworks were influences related to bold use of color and a love of experimentation with both depth and tone. Art works by Delaunay are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.
The rare out of print Modernist poster measures 24" W X 36" H. It is printed on smooth finish paper stock with vibrant ink colors in a satin finish.
It is in very good vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and light surface wear. It has never been framed. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. less
