A monoprint on Japanese mulberry paper, color added with pastel and watercolor and set in a Maple frame (no glass) - size 9 x 11 inches
Surface texture of the mulberry paper is unique. Depending on the light, the print can look more or less 'persimmon' and intense. The piece can appear to 'glow' under incandescent light.

Paula Stebbins Becker is an artist and textile designer living in Rhode
Island. She received her MFA at Cranbrook Academy of Art and has
exhibited nationally. Paula develops her artworks intuitively, experimenting
with a variety of techniques and materials to create texture, color and
patterns. Each hand created artwork is unique, deeply connected to the
process of making, including; mono-prints, drawing, pastel, collage and
