A super moon rare find! Produced by the George F. Cram Company for Lunar Products, this vintage 1969 moon globe comes with its original mailing box. The vintage lunar globe has an unusual 10 1/2" diameter and comes with its original metal cradle base.
The moon map gores are scale reproductions of the lunar surface as it was known in 1969. The Apollo 11, July 20, 1969 landing site is prominently marked.
The vintage moon globe is in very good condition. There is one tiny scuff on the surface, but it is otherwise in amazing condition. The vintage mailing box shows wear including dings and soiling. The vintage cardboard box has a torn label from Lunar Products, Cape Canaveral, Florida as well as a post office metering label dated September 24, 1969.
