Paul Klee ( 1879 - 1940 ) The Swiss born artists is attributed to creating some of the most original and colorful paintings of The Twentieth Century. Klee was an educator at the famous Bauhaus School in Germany. His work reflects the styles and ideas of Symbolism, Expressionism, Cubism, as well the simplicity of The Bauhaus designs. Art works by Klee are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The Modernist lithograph print is a page from an authentic vintage first edition artists publication printed in Japan in 1955, published by Harry N. Abrams Inc., New York. The lithograph print plate image is attached to the page with a method called " tipping " where it is attached by hand to the page on the top and left side edge. The title and date of the original artwork is printed on the reverse back side of the page. This print is suitable fro framing.

The rare out of print lithograph print image measures 6 3/8" W X 9 1/2" H, on a page that is 8 1/4" W X 11 1/8" H. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. It has never been framed. Please see photos for condition reference.
