Relax in style with these heavy tapestry designs selected from beautiful and unique antique designs to incorporate to your current décor. French tapestry is purely a luxurious choice for your home! This is an excellent reproduction of French Aubusson woven in 1990s. The color and design in this elegantly handwoven needlepoint cushion cover make it the perfect accessory for any classic interior. Details:
The front side has been hand- woven from looms in isolated family workshops in centuries ago in Normandy France. Fragment of an autumn foliage with Aubusson Motifs in rich tones of autumn colors like yellow, olive green and red stand out on a black background.
Decorative Flanged edges of 1 inches, approximately. I have made a flange stitched around the outside edge. Adding a flange allows you to have a larger looking pillow while using a smaller pillow form.
The corners are professionally hand sewn forming MITERED CORNERS: A technique in sewing.
Detailed with an antique tassel fringe trim in pale goldenrod color.
The reverse stands out with a lovely pale goldenrod chenille solid fabric which combined perfectly with the ensemble.
Professionally finished for durability: interior seams are over locked.
To make ZIPPERED pillows:
I have sewn a zipper (2 inches shorter) near to the bottom of the back side and made a stitch trim so that the fabric will be held in place and not be caught in the zipper teeth. A zipper closure in the back of a pillow keeps the pillow cover on the pillow form but allows it to be removed for easy laundering.
To give an impeccable finished I use “My Vaporette” professional steam ironing and a miniature board.

SIZE Tassel Fringe: 2.36 inches, approximately.
