This Brice Marden lithograph print Abstract Expressionist custom framed Minimalist exhibition poster " Elevation " 2019, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The lithograph print Minimalist poster is published by The Gagosian Gallery New York, printed in 2019 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the exhibition " It Reminds Me Of Something, And I Don't Know What It Is ". It features an artwork image originally created by Marden in 2018 - 2019 titled " Elevation ", copyright 2019 Brice Marden / Artists Rights Society ( ARS ) New York.
Brice Marden ( B. 1938 ) is an American born Contemporary artist. The highly individual art works are generally defined in the art movements fo Minimalism and Abstract Expressionism. In the way the he has moved between and away from each of these categories has meant that his works take on an intensely personal idiom.
Marden bases his art upon a wide range of experiences including new acquaintances, internal crises, and studies of literature, art history and nature. Art works by Marden are held in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums, and have been the subject of numerous international exhibitions including retrospectives at The Solomon R.Guggenheim Museum and The Museum of Modern Art New York.
The lithograph print Abstract Expressionist framed exhibition poster measures 35 1/4" W X 27 1/2" H X 1 3/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modernist dark charcoal matte brushed finish metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
