This is a delightful set of colorful avant-garde tiles blooming with an apple, a pear and an orange. The wood is marked on the back of both pieces: “ Serer Wood - hand carved hardwood Japan pat. pending”. 0n the tile is signed: “Fred Press”, with the copyright sign.
The serving board has a square ceramic tile that accommodates the cut cheese and wooden sides are for the crackers.
The smaller, apple shaped cutting board with attached knife and brass chain and attachments has a round ceramic tile.
Both tiles are embedded in the wood. (I know that there is a cutting board in the shape of a pear. I assume there is probably a cutting board in the shape of an orange too(?)
