Asian black and red lacquered on a folding 8-panel base with an octagonal matching top. designed to fit inside braces in the top to hold the base in configuration. Each base panel is hinged in matching pairs to fold into a stack. In formation, these fit into supports on the underside of the top. The surface is amazing in controlled design and ornamental scrolling painted in red on a black ground. Very good condition. The size is 23.5" in diameter and stands 24.5" tall. See less
