The cups have with clean mid-century lines and chunky straight handles and the saucers have smooth surfaces; signed on the bottom. Handmade ceramic stoneware with a red and brown glaze. The cups measure 4" by 2.5" by 2.75" high, and the saucers are 4.5" wide. Made in Sweden, c. 1960s, and from a Swedish estate. "Glögg" means "glowing embers" and recipes call for red wine and some combination of port, brandy, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger, orange peel, raisins, and almonds. See less
