Lovely Royal Worcester Porcelain Lidded Tureen Bowl. Pattern is Evesham.
Evesham is in Worcestershire and from 1930’s onwards was the asparagus growing region in England. The tureen is hand painted with asparagus on one side of bowl and artichokes/sheaf of wheat on other side. On the lid decorated other produce of the region - peaches, blackberries, apples and olives.
The bowl and lid accented by gilt gold gilding.
Measures 8” diameter x 3 3/4” high.
