Victorian Chinoiserie decorated, having a four pointed cartouche shaped top with graceful scalloped serpentine edge; featuring beautiful hand painted polychrome decoration, rich gold gilt accents, and brilliant flower and star mother of pearl inlays and banded inlay, beautifully aged distressed patina with desirable craquelure adds to the overall antique character and charm.

The hinged drop-top secured by a simple wooden latch, rising on tapering turned ebonized wood pedestal, mounted over undulating stepped molded round plinth base, terminating in bracket feet.

Makes for a wonderful accent piece, when not in use the top tilts up, showcasing the unique, visually stunning and artistic display!
