A vintage set of 2 mid Century Modern Art Deco Haeger ceramic pottery tall seated cat statuette figure: a large … Read more A vintage set of 2 mid Century Modern Art Deco Haeger ceramic pottery tall seated cat statuette figure: a large (about 29 1/2" H) glossy black and the exact same cat smaller (about 20" H) which is actually a vase… ivory tone with yellow painted eyes and some grey hair patterns.
Both are seated in a proud position almost like their Egyptian ancestors!
Very impressive statuettes especially due to their sizes and similarities.

Condition at first sight is good / fair but they both have some flaws (seen on the pictures): black one has a painted chip on top of one ear and a hairline / breach starting from the paw of about 7 inches. The smaller one has a hairline / breach at the opening of the vase, small scuffs and glaze chips (especially on 1 cheek). All these flaws don’t really bother at first sight. Wear in line with age and history. Priced accordingly.
