Born in the 19th century, the oversized chest's silhouette a wonderful mix of clean, straight lines and curvilinear, bulbous form, having a rectangular shaped top, over the solid wood case fitted with five drawers, all with attractive marquetry-work.
Featuring two concealed drawers, and three large spacious drawers with curvaceous shaped drawer fronts, flanked by simple, unadorned serpentine columns.
Isabelina style, this distinctive chest dates from the reign of Isabel II (Queen of Spain; 1833-1868) detailing.
