A lively Curtis Jere interpretation of the Pied Piper carrying balloons with village children in pursuit. The burnished bronze figures are mounted in a slab of white and orange agate onyx. The brightly colored lucite balloons swing on thin metal "strings".
A great addition to any mid-century modern home, collector of Jere -- or a fan of The Red Balloon.
"Curtis Jere" is a compound nom-de-plume of artists Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. The two founders combined pieces of their own names to create the C. Jeré signature.
