One tray is missing the cork liner in the drink holder but that should be easily be replaced. Fabric on one stool has a faint yellow stain (see photo) and could use a cleaning. A super rare pair of mid century modern low stacking stools with upholstered seats and pull out trays containing anodized aluminum ashtrays in two different colors and cork-lined drink holders. Stools are made of solid teak frames with an off-white striped velvet-like upholstery. There is an understated Chinese/Asian flair to this design. Underside of the seat is stamped with "BJ" encased in a circle and "Art Furniture Shop, Designers Manufacturers" with an address. I don't have any info on this maker. A very special and unique pair from the mid century modern era never seen before!
