Beautiful, original landscape oil painting on canvas. This colorful, plein-air landscape captures the texture and richness of nature as it takes the viewer into an open field of organic pathways and emerging crops. The vibrant painting expresses through visible brushwork and spontaneous layers of paint a view on a summer morning of rural farm life. This painting was created on site by a farm in Chesterfield, NJ on a quiet summer morning. The landscape had an artful presence with it's fences and varied terrain which was the inspiration and draw for me in this piece. The farm buildings were on the right of the landscape and beautiful in their own right but I put them aside for another day devoted just to them.
