With a strong sense of dimensionality and asymmetry, this hand-knotted Beni Mrirt Moroccan rug is engaging, yet well balanced creating a striking visual effect. The green striated field features a pink lines running from the top to the bottom crisscrossing in an organic manner. Imbued with green hues with teal and tiffany blue, the rich waves of abrash of painterly-like brush strokes and softly gradated striations run selvage to selvage blending seamlessly from one to the next. The blending of colors harmonize one another, creating the perfect design and emanating function and versatility while staying true to the authentic spirit of Berber Tribe culture.
