- A late Victorian round spice tin carrier with "Spices" stenciled in gold to the lid, this is complete with 7 … more A late Victorian round spice tin carrier with "Spices" stenciled in gold to the lid, this is complete with 7 round spice tins inside, these also have the stenciled names of the spices on the tops, which are: Cinnamon, Cloves, Mustard, Pepper, Nutmeg, Ginger, Allspice. The 7 individual tins measure approx. 2 1/2" in diameter, & the larger outside carrier measures about 8 1/4" in diameter & stands about 3 1/4" high. Manufactured by Metal Packaging Corporation of New York. Overall condition is very good for a utility item, see photos. This tidy and compact method of storage kept the spices safe in one place, and was also a good way to carry spice when traveling. less
