This fabulous retro set, eight pieces total, was given to me over 20+ years ago and I’ve not used it enough to warrant keeping. This gorgeous set is looking for a great new home, yours perhaps? I do not know who made these beauties but craftsmanship and color are both incredible ala Murano glass tableware, circa 1960 to 1970. The medium is a translucent, nicely-weighted glass with slight opalescence in an aquamarine hue (trends more green than blue) with milky undertones. For entertaining, the set makes quite a statement and will complement any other serveware you may use by adding a sleek pop of color. I’ve used the set for serving pieces myself; the under plates add a great deal of drama and elegance! Each bowl measures 6” x 3¼” x 2” top diameter/height/base diameter; each plate measures 8¼” x 1¼” D/H; together the set weighs 6 lbs. In pristine condition with a few random inclusions that are original to the manufacturer. A fabulous set for entertaining and one that will certainly turns heads!
