There is a scraped area on the back of the top of the chair (see picture). Slight blemish on front left side near top (see picture). It doesn't appear that the finish was ever touched - it is probably the original finish. The seat was re-upholstered in Connecticut in 1972 as per the tag shown on the bottom. Fabric is slightly pulling away at the front middle - needs to be re-tacked. The seat should be re-upholstered with a proper antique silk fabric. less
