An original lithograph titled, ‘The Open Window’ by well listed, exhibited, and highly collected artist Robert Kipniss (American, b.1931). Kipniss’ subtle use of black & white in his work has an atmospheric effect that conveys “an inner landscape” of solitude and quiet reflection. Signed in pencil and numbered (82/250). Black wood frame with gold metal detail. Beige colored matte. Sold by Merrill Chase Gallery in the 1970s.
